Our Story
The Manitoba Rockin’ Revolution is a platform built to amplify the sound of Winnipeg and Manitoba music beyond provincial borders. At its core, it’s a vehicle for discovery—connecting a wider audience with the depth, diversity, and creativity of the local scene.
The shows shine a spotlight on emerging and lesser-known artists who are doing exceptional work but may not yet have national or international exposure. By combining artist interviews, storytelling, and the music itself, The Manitoba Rockin’ Revolution gives listeners context—who these artists are, where they come from, and what drives their sound.
More than just a radio show, it’s a celebration of community and originality. It reflects the spirit of Manitoba’s independent music culture: passionate, hardworking, and unafraid to carve its own path. The goal is simple but powerful—to help great local music travel farther, reach new ears, and ensure the artists shaping the scene get the recognition they deserve.

Your Host - Terrence Ferguson
Terrence is the bass guitarist for Winnipeg band CAR287. He spent his spare time for many years playing music in cover bands like Raven Mad and 3/4 Down all over Manitoba. After retiring from a long career in Air Traffic Services with Nav Canada, he has focused his days working in the arts, in Music and Movies.

Rej Ricard released his first solo album in November of 2025. He is a gifted singer songwriter in addition to being a multi instrumentalist. He is also well known as the bass guitarist in several bands in the Winnipeg scene including Slow Leaves, The Telepathic Butterflies and The Windups.
Black and White Rewrite were an up and coming band in Winnipeg when they released their 2014 release "Keepsakes". They parted ways for 11 years and reassembled and began recording again in 2026! Their pop punk music has reignited the flame and we will see more out of this group, fronted by Michael Jensen on vocals, Robin Barratt on guitar, Hanah Ryan on Drums, CUrtis Borkowski on bass and Christi
The 12/21 are a trio of Filipino-Canadians who have turned a love of bands like Blink 182 and Sum 41 into their own blend of pop punk - and created music in that genre in English and tagalog. They have a large following in Winnipeg and in the Phillipines.
Neighbour Andy are an indie rock quintet from Winnipeg. The band features frontman Drake Lesperance (with his stand out vocals), guitarist Mark Davidson, Joel D'Eschambault on keys, Jordan Alexiuk on Drums and bassist Mackenzie Jackson. The band has built a solid following quickly with their "Canadiana" influenced indie rock. A band to keep an eye on - new album in 2026!!
